Great idea!
I think that if is possible to add classes and functionalities for Ajax interaction and graphical user interfaces that’s could be cool and this project will also take the fly and compete directly with GWT (Google Web Toolkit).
Because the greatest idea (in my opinion) is to just write ajax enabled rich internet application in java (and not js). However take a look at Morfik C# to JS compiler!!

To be fair, Smalltalk wasn’t the first OOP language: that prize goes to Simula 67

I was about to write the same as skuro. Simula 67 was the first language to introduce object oriented programming (i.e. introducing classes, subclasses and instances).
